Program Description:

The Alexander von Humboldt Foundation (AvH) offers young highly qualified U.S.-American scientists and scholars to carry out a research project of their own choice in Germany (age limit: 40 years). The fellowships enable young American Scientists and Scholars to conduct research for nine to eighteen months within a period of up to three years. Fellowship holders are expected to spend at least three consecutive months per annum in Germany.
